Community Karaoke

The Karaoke Club had lots of fine karaoke singers last week. Rob Illingsworth got their attention with the Halloween tune “Monster Mash.” Pat Paternoster sang teenager favorite “Oh Carol.” Danna Sanders kept the beat with “Portion No. 9.”

Everyone likes to sing “Blue Bayou,” well done by Duane Owens. Kathy Englehardt did a powerful “I Just Fall In Love Again.” Julie Nulad did another hit tune by Matt Monro “Portrait of My Love. “Bobby Gronke did a fine “Solsbury Hill.”

It was a busy night with 33 performers anxiously awaiting their turns.

The club holds practice sessions on Mondays in Clubhouse 6 from 1-3 p.m.

Members can help residents find a song with the tempo and key selection for their next performance. Once members are comfortable with their choice, they sing like pros at the karaoke parties.
