Art League welcomes multimedia submissions

The September Art League meeting and demonstration featured members Carmen Leslie and Carol Levine, demonstrating mono- printing, where great lengths go into making one single print, never to be duplicated.

The winners for this month were Rita Hughes, masters; Judy Sherret, intermediate and popular vote; Raquel Tal, Best of Show; and John Robinson, 3D Multimedia Digital.

The Art League’s monthly meetings now include—in addition to time-honored paintings for all mediums (oil, pastel, watercolor, acrylic)—digital (computer) multimedia, artwork using two or more mediums, 3D and sculpture.

Soon, that list will also include ceramics and possibly sewing. Many artists in the club practice multiple disciplines.
