This week’s puzzle is checkmate in three moves.

White moves first and any answer by black the white’s third move is checkmate. Solution to this week’s puzzle is first move is f7. The white Queen moves from a2 to f7, black Knight to f7, white Bishop to f7, black King to d8, the next move by white is checkmate. The Chess Club meets in Clubhouse 3, Room 7, from 1:30-6 p.m. on Fridays.
