Shuffleboard leagues start in September
Sign-up sheets for the Fall Friday Morning League and the new October Evening League have been posted. Any LW resident can join the Shuffleboard Club—annual dues are $5—and include eligiblity to join a league team.
League teams of six or seven players will play only two games each session. The evening league will play for four consecutive weeks beginning Oct. 4, while the morning league will begin play on Sept. 30 and end the fall program, after nine matches, just before Christmas.
Games are held at the Courts Building (behind Clubhouse 1 on Burning Tree Lane) on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9-11 a.m. Text or call Kay Mount at (775) 527-0426 for more information.
