Genealogy Club

The Genealogy Club invites anyone who is interested to visit its library and attend its workshops every Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in Clubhouse 3.

The themes for this month’s workshops are as follows: April 7: The Newly Released 1950 Census

April 14: State of the Month—Alabama

April 21: Digging Deeper at Newspapers.com

April 28: Brick Walls (attendees are welcome to share with the group an ancestor they cannot find).

Club members have unlimited access to Ancestry.com (world version), Newspapers. com and Fold3.com (military records). The Genealogy Library isopenMonday-Fridayfrom1-4 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. A volunteer is present during these times to assist people. For more information, send an email to LWGW@gmail.com.
