Chess Club

This week’s puzzle is checkmate in three moves. White moves first; any answer by Black, and White’s third move is checkmate. The White queen moves from a4 to d7, then Black rook to d7, followed by White rook to c8 and Black rook to d8. The next move by White is checkmate.

The Chess Club meets from 1:30-6 p.m. on Fridays in Clubhouse 3, Room 7.
