Lapidary Club
The Lapidary Club announces two new classes. The cost for each class is $5, which includes supplies. Sign-ups are in the Lapidary room in Clubhouse 4 any time between 9 a.m.-noon or from 1-3 p.m. Pat Spencer will teach the art of Kumihimo (Japanese braiding) on June 28, from 9 a.m.-noon. The class will be limited to seven participants, but anyone who wants to observe may do so.
An introduction to cutting, grinding and polishing stones suitable for display or jewelry will be taught by Greg Myers on July 2 from 9-11 a.m. The class is open to the first six participants to enroll.
