Walking for the Health of It

Regular brisk walking can help people maintain a healthy weight, prevent or manage conditions like heart disease, high blood pressure and type 2 diabetes; strengthen bones and muscles; and improve mood, and balance and coordination. The Recreation Department has a Leisure World Walking Trails brochure featuring seven measured trails throughout the community. Stop by the Downtown Café and pick one up.
